About the Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4-5 lb pork shoulder

  • 1 tbsp chili powder

  • 1 tsp cumin

  • 1 tsp oregano

  • 1 onion, quartered

  • 4 cloves garlic

  • Juice of 2 oranges

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Rub pork with chili powder, cumin, oregano, salt, and pepper. Place in slow cooker with onion, garlic, and orange juice.

  2. Cook on low 8-10 hours until tender. Shred with forks.

  3. Optional: Crisp shredded pork under broiler for 5 minutes. Serve in tortillas or bowls.
