Roadhouse Oven-Roasted Pulled Pork with Tangy BBQ Sauce

About the Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4-5 lb pork butt

  • 2 tbsp smoked paprika

  • 1 tbsp garlic powder

  • 1 tbsp salt

  • 1 tsp black pepper

  • BBQ Sauce: 1 cup ketchup + ¼ cup apple cider vinegar + 2 tbsp brown sugar + 1 tsp chili powder

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F. Rub pork with spices. Place in a roasting pan.

  2. Roast 6-8 hours until fork-tender (internal temp 200°F). Shred.

  3. For sauce: Simmer all ingredients 10 minutes. Toss with pork or serve on side.
